Yep, we are starting 2014 out with sore legs, butts, and arms, as well as a blister or two! But it was soooo worth it! We spent the last day of 2013 cross country skiing in Harriman State Park. We rented skis for Chy and TJ, and Syd was able to wear my old set. (The kids all have snow board equipment, but no cross country gear.) It wasn’t sunny, but it was pretty warm with fresh snow coming down. Beautiful and serene . . . ahhhh! We skied about 5.5 miles. Not bad for the first time out this year!
