Wow! What a day! Extreme Bateman’s first game today was a semifinal at 1:00. The game started warm, switched to rain, changed to hail, then eased back to rain, all with a very healthy wind! The officials called a lightening delay, and everyone huddled under whatever one could find! The girls played hard through it all. Tied 1-1 at the end of the regulation time, they played another 2 five-minute overtimes. They finally won in penalty kicks! Wahoo!
Rain Rain Go Away!
We (the girls and parents) were all very wet, cold, and wind-burned. They got done well after 3:00 and had to be back to the field at 5:00 for the final at 6:00. Whew! Quick bite to eat, change uniforms, and back to the field! I am always awed at the grit these girls show. All of them are amazing! I was ready for a nap just watching!
Due to more delays, the final did not start until about 6:30. Everyone was just a little anxious! At least, the sky dried out.
The team fought hard despite being still wet and bone-tired! The girls really stepped up their game in the second half; it was so fun to watched them! They did lose the game, but they placed 2nd in their division and 1st in their bracket! A great way to finish the season!

We left Park City after 9:00 tonight, and we should be home sometime before 1:00 this morning. Fun weekend, great job girls!
